Head over to Thomas Jansson’s Flickr page to see more great photos from the live show at Electronic Winter last week. Thanks Thomas!
This is the video recording of The Mobile Homes performing live at “Pet Sounds Aid” – a benefit gala for the “Pet Sounds” record store in Stockholm, Sweden.
If anybody has any more details on this gig, please leave a comment and let us know things like year, location, etc.
This live video was shot at Rantarock in Finland. Does anybody know what year?
The setlist for this show is: I can’t believe you, Afraid, Definitely Wrong, Love Relation, String Of Light, To Belong, I Do What I Can, Feeling Better.
Thanks to Andreas for compiling the setlist!
This video was shot on June 9th, 1990, during a performance at Sala Folkets Hus. According to legend, the boys jumped on a bus straight from their performance at Rålambshovsparken in Stockholm and went to perform in Sala.
The setlist for this video is Hurt, Something Better, Between Decay And Strong Will, Faith, Let This Be Forever, Lost The Lust.
If you know the exact date for this gig, please let us know!
This is some eight minutes of shaky footage from an outside gig in Stockholm some time in 1990 (best guess by the band). Were you there? Do you remember exactly when this was? Let us know!
The band performs Between Decay And Strong Will, Faith and Let This Be Forever.
This performance is from Norrköping, 1991-10-05 around the release of “Nothing But Something”. We have the boys performing Getting Nowhere, Slightest Doubt, Let This Be Forever, Afraid, My Punishment, Something Better, Lost The Lust, Love To Be Loved, Hurt, Hoping For Rain, Nothing But Something.
In what surely must now seem like a bad dream, our friends perform “United” together with Karl Bartos on a German kids’ TV show back in 1998(?).
A very disoriented Per is attacked by bouncy German TV hosts and forced to answer the question “Why do Swedish bands always have such good pop songs – is it the Wasa knäckebröd?”.
This video gives “blast from the past” new meaning. Recorded at legendary synth club Kolingsborg at Slussen, Stockholm in 1989, this is The Mobile Homes performing before the release of Hurt. Unfortunately the video and audio quality is far from perfect, but enjoy this piece of video for what it is – an opportunity to time travel!
This is the first of many videos to come here at themobilehomes.se. There is a whole box of VHS tapes to be converted with live shows, official videos and some behind-the-scenes footage as well.
This live video is about 90 minutes long and contains a number of songs from “Test” as well as remixed and original versions of older tracks such as “Something Better”, “Nothing but Something”.
